Tyler made it across the ‘monkey bars’ at the swimming pool! He’s tried so hard to make it all the way across and we were all so excited for him when he finally made it! We even celebrated with ice cream after the pool!

When we get a lot of rain, these boys love playing out in the puddles!
There they go. Off to explore some more puddles together.
Tyler had a fantastic, but short, T-Ball season this summer! He played for the Cubs, met new friends, and really improved and learned more about the game of baseball. Rainy evenings made for a short season—3 games were cancelled and we missed one game when we were on vacation. So, it seemed to be a pretty short season. Even with 4 less games, Tyler really showed improvement in his baseball skills! As with any sport he plays, he absolutely loved every second of it!
Next summer and next baseball season Tyler will be in regular baseball and Brady will be doing his first season of T-Ball!
I took a lot of pictures! So many of the good ones are posted below.
He ended the season with what he thought was, “the best game ever!” He also said, “that was a game I will never forget!” When I asked him why it was the best game ever, he told me 2 reasons. One was because he ALMOST caught a pop fly! And the second was because instead of using the T for the last game a coach pitched them the ball and Tyler hit all 4 of his pitches and hit all 4 of them FAR! What a great way to end the season---with “the best game ever!”
And you can’t have a season without an injury. He got his first finger sprain when he was trying to catch a ball at 1st base. I saw it happen and watched him as he tried to ‘be tough’ and ‘shake it out.’ He ‘played tough’ for a while. After playing first and getting injured, he then proceeded to bat. When he ran to first base he told me that it hurt (which the picture above shows). Shortly after this picture he just couldn’t hold the tears in any longer and came running and crying to my lap. I moved him over to sit on his Dad’s lap so that Dad could keep him tough and hopefully know exactly what to say. He ended up not playing the rest of this game, but wanted to stay and watch his team finish.
As this picture shows Brady relaxing in a chair, he didn’t do much of that during Tyler’s games. He was usually up and about and playing with other kids.
Tyler at 1st with his friend, Nick. Wonder what they were talking about?
Another one of Tyler’s biggest fans, Grandma Mary. She made it to watch a couple games of Tyler’s and Tyler loved having her there!
Tyler and his friend, Caden at 1st.
Here is the moment captured that made his last game, “the best game ever!” He was playing pitcher and ALMOST caught this pop fly! It bounced off his glove…it was so close! He was so excited!
No T for the last game!
