HEALTHY, AND HIGH QUALITY PICTURES

ALL PICTURES FROM TYLER'S DIGITAL CAMERA
Tyler taking a picure of himself. We have hundreds of these!
This is his friend at daycare, Natalie.
Our cutie!
Headband and lettuce spinner bowl on his head.
3 headbands, lettuce spinner, no pants, and my shoes. Very cute!

Everyone in the fam. is back to being healthy! Brady really had me worried for a couple days, but he is doing very well and cough free!!! It's a good thing that we are all feeling well, because we have a busy week ahead of us.
With only 2 days of work this week for myself, I will spend Wednesday at home (with the boys at daycare) cleaning the house and packing for our trip to Iowa City. We will spend Thanksgiving at my mom's and then the weekend will be Katie and Mike wedding festivities! My friend Katie is getting married on Saturday. I'm a bridesmaid and Tyler is the ring bearer. Friday we have rehearsal and then Saturday the wedding! It should be a very fun weekend! I told Katie not to expect great things out of Tyler. That way, if he actually does walk down the aisle, we can all be pleasantly surprised!
I am missing my camera so much!!! Brady is growing so big and changing every day. Tyler is just goofy and makes me want to take a picture of him about a hundred times a day. Just yesterday he took 3 of my headbands and put them on his head. They didn't bother him at all, he just went around playing with headbands on. While the headbands were on, he took his pants off and slipped into a pair of my flats. Boy, did he ever look beautiful. I mean, handsome! I wanted a picture so bad! I ended up using Tyler's camera and taking a picture of him.
Tyler has been pretty comical lately with the things he says. Here is a conversation that he and I had Friday night. Background: Lee had just left to go pick up some burgers for him and I so that I didn't have to cook dinner!
T: "Where Daddy go?"
M: "Daddy went to go get burgers. Mommy and Daddy wanted burgers for dinner."
T: "I want burgers too, Mommy.
M: "Do you want to have a bite of Mommy's burger?"
T: "No."
M: "Why not, Tyler?"
T: "Don't like burgers, Mommy."
M: "Have you ever had a burger, Tyler?"
T: "No."
Besides being extremely funny and cute, Tyler is in a Mommy stage. He isn't wanting me to leave him at daycare, he isn't wanting to be alone with Lee, it's exhausting! Lee will take Tyler down to the basement to play, to give me a break from him, and it will only last maybe 5 minutes. He gets upset when I take Brady upstairs to eat and go to bed and he has to stay downstairs with Lee. We are all ready for Tyler to be out of this Mommy stage. It's so bad that he makes the mistake of calling Lee 'Mommy' alot. He's so used to saying Mommy, that's what comes out no matter who he's talking to.
We got pictures taken yesterday at JC Penney. They were Tyler's 2 years, Brady's 3 months, and then we got family pictures. Lee says that picture day is one of the worst days of being a parent. It really is not fun, but the boys did really well and we got some good shots of the both of them and the whole family! We are glad that it's over and be ready to take Brady back in another 3 months!

Tyler with his new drill and safety glasses.

The past week has been quite challenging for all of us in the Reynolds house. Tyler started off the week really sick, with a bad cough and runny nose. Then Brady and I caught it from Tyler. Hearing a yucky cough on such a little guy like Brady, is terrible. He doesn't quite know how to cough to be able to get all of "it" out. I have felt so bad for him that past few days, but he and I are now on our way to being better and healthier. Tyler has been doing okay and started feeling better towards the end of the week last week, but we still all have the cough every now and then. We are all still taking over the counter medicine and are hoping by the middle of this week we will all be happy and 100% healthy. Lee has been fine and playing doctor to all of us!!!
It was a great birthday weekend for Tyler!!! Lee and I decorated the house Friday night, after the boys were in bed. We put up a Happy Birthday banner and placed balloons all over the ceiling. Saturday morning, I was already downstairs with Brady before Lee and Tyler woke up. It was priceless to watch Tyler's expression when Lee brought him downstairs. He loved the balloons and was loving the attention from us that morning. My mom came early Saturday morning to put a ham in the oven and to spend the day with Tyler. Our first round of party goers were my mom, dad, Josh, and Sara Pyatt. Tyler loved opening his presents this year. He would say 'another present.' He got a digital camera (for kids, of course), coloring books, and a stuffed animal Elmo (one that doesn't make noise :) !) Lee and I got him some new tools, a drill, and a flash light, a police car, some fire trucks, and a broom! With this first party we opened presents, played, ate lunch, sang happy birthday, blew out candles, and then ate some cake. Tyler loved being sang Happy Birthday to! He would say, 'more, again!' So, we of course, sang a few times!

After Tyler's nap we had our second round of party goers. My mom, my grandma, my Uncle Kendall, my Aunt Brenda, my Cousin Whitney and Cousin Ava came to the party. Tyler got another fun music DVD of Barney that he enjoyed on the way to daycare this morning. We again played, ate, sang happy birthday, blew out candles, and had some more cake and ice cream. Tyler was worn out by the end of the night, but still wasn't ready to go get his bath and go to bed. Pretty sure he didn't want the fun day to end. At the end of this day, we were thinking that the digital camera was going to be the best gift. He took pictures non-stop, but he always holds the camera backwards, so there are hundreds (literally hundreds) of pictures taken of Tyler's face. Luckily, it's digital and we can delete.

Now on Sunday, Katie and Mike stopped by and of course brought Tyler a gift. This gift topped it all. They brought him a Lightning McQueen fort with a tunnel. We first set up the fort in the living room. I suggested that this was going to be a basement toy, and then Lee suggested that it would be good in his bedroom. We agreed on the bedroom. Last night after Tyler's bath Lee was getting Tyler ready for bed and Tyler wanted to go night night in the fort. Lee told him no, that he needed to sleep in his big boy bed. Tyler then threw a small fit and Lee gave in. He moved a pillow, Elmo, his bear, and blankets into the fort. We were wondering if he would sleep in the fort the entire night...and he did! I was up at 3:00 with Brady and went in to check on Tyler. He was out cold, but his head was outside of the fort, with the rest of his body inside the fort. I moved his head back into the fort and he didn't even notice. I had to go in this morning to wake him up at 6:45 and he looked nice and cozy in his fort. We'll see if he wants to sleep in it again tonight! I'll have to add pictures of the fort later since our camera is not working.
It was such a nice weekend, even though Brady and I were not feeling great. Tyler got such great gifts. Thank you to everyone for coming to our house for Tyler's big day and for bringing him such great gifts. This year's gifts were so much nicer than last years.....all the gifts that we got this year don't make any noise!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for making Tyler's day so wonderful and memorable!!!
A note about our camera....
It seems that someone's little nose or little finger could have made the lense on our camera very blurry. We can't seem to get it clear, so again our camera is out of order. Hopefully we can get it fixed somehow! I can't live without that camera! The boys change so much everyday that I take pictures of them constantly! We did have my mom's camera here this weekend to take some pictures.

THE DAY TO DAY EXCITEMENT!

Tyler and I out on the trampoline on Saturday, NOVEMBER 7. He's in his diaper because the weather was gorgeous!
Brady 10 weeks old!

White text was written earlier today. Blue text is being written at the end of today--both boys in bed!!!

There are many mornings when I get to school and I think to myself, "Wow, I can't believe that I made it here. How did I do it?" I surprise myself every day. It may not always be in the morning, but at some point throughout the day I am amazed by myself. I do not know how I get myself ready in 20 minutes in the morning, get Tyler dressed, teeth brushed, hair combed, juice and cereal in hand and Disney on TV, Brady out of bed, dressed, and sometimes fed. I just do it and don't think about anything else. I am moving like a robot in the mornings. I forgot to mention that I let Bailey out and in recent days have been needing to clean up his throw-up. He's getting old! Of course it helps that I really don't take time for myself. I quickly get ready and get my coffee and breakfast to go. So today was one of those days that the morning ran pretty smoothly, it was after work that was extremely chaotic! I picked the boys up from daycare and went straight home. Brady fell asleep in the car seat on the way home, so when we all got inside I left him in his car seat to sleep. I turned the TV on for Tyler and got him juice and snack so that I could get some dishes and bottles washed. I hear Tyler say...'Baby up'. This means that Brady is waking up, so I go to check on him and he is fine for a few more minutes until I'm finished in the kitchen. Now that Brady is up, Tyler wants to hold him, so I can see Tyler playing with the carseat. Next, I hear, 'Baby fall'. Luckily, Brady is still buckled in his car seat, because Tyler has just rolled the car seat forward so that Brady is now hanging in his car seat, all of his body weight on the belt. However, he didn't seem to mind. I pushed the car seat back, took him out and put him in his chair. Tyler and I played for a bit and then Brady started to cry. I went over to pick Brady up and walked to the kitchen to get his pacifier, Tyler following behind. Tyler got into the refridgerator, and as I was grabbing Brady's paci off of the bottle drying rack, my elbow hit the coffee pot that was drying on a towel on the counter and down went the coffee pot straight to the floor and shattered all over the kitchen floor. I got Tyler out of the kitchen right away (fit being thrown of course) because he did not want to leave the kitchen. I put Brady in his swing and I went back to the kitchen to clean up the mess I had made. While I was in the kitchen, Tyler brings me the tray from the swing that Brady is in. Well, this tray is what keeps Brady safe in the chair, because we do not buckle him in. (We will now start!) So, I run to the living room (glass still shattered all over the floor) to see that Brady is luckily still sitting and swinging in the chair. I got Brady out of the swing and back into his chair while I finished cleaning up the kitchen floor. Finally, things are cleaned (rug and broom in the sink) and we can relax! Yeah, right! So, Brady starts to cry, I get him wrapped up and start rocking him. Next thing I know, Tyler is on top of the kitchen table. I get him back into the living room, make him watch Elmo and rock Brady to sleep. This ended at 5:30. Needless to say, we bathed both boys together tonight and put them to bed early!

Brady, however, is doing a much better job at sleeping during the night. He usually goes anywhere from 5-6 hrs. between feedings at night. It's so nice to have Lee on first shift and home at night to help with feedings! I cannot believe how much Brady is growing. We had a Baptism meeting at church last night and there was a 6 lb. something baby there. It was amazing how little she looked and then to think that was Brady just 2 months ago!

Speaking of the Baptism meeting...we took both boys and both Lee and I were extremely exhausted by the end of the hour and a half meeting! To keep both of them quiet and Tyler in one little area for a hour and a half was difficult and exhausting! But, we learned exactly what we did just a year and a half ago, so I am glad that it is now over.

Tyler caught my cold. He has a cough and runny nose, but has not yet run a fever. Yeah!!! I got called at 3:20 from our babysitter and was told that Tyler woke up from his nap with a fever. So I left immediately to go pick up the boys. 24 hours away from daycare, so Lee will be staying home with Tyler, and possibly Brady tomorrow. Brady also has started a bit of a cough. Ugghh! Thankfully they have a dr. appt. scheduled already! It's amazing how much Tyler has grown up since Brady has been out at daycare with him. He behaves much better at home and is such a big help with Brady. He is now so much better at getting things out to play with and he does a great at playing on his own when we are busy. He also has gone #1 and #2 in the potty a few times!!! We are trying hard at this, and sometimes he's thrilled to try and go, and other times he wants nothing to do with it! I hope it comes sooner rather than later, because these dirty diapers aren't getting any prettier. It's crazy to know that Tyler will be turning 2 this Saturday!!!

We have had some awesome weather here lately! Tyler and I were actually out on the neighbor's trampoline Saturday early afternoon. He was still in his PJ's (very rare for us) and he started to sweat so the PJ's came off and we jumped in his diaper. Lee and Tyler went to the park on Saturday and we all went to the park on Sunday. It's great to have such nice weather in early November. We also had our 2nd bonfire on the back deck Saturday night. It was wonderful!!! Tyler had a great time!

Both boys go to the doctor tomorrow. Brady for his 2 month and Tyler for his 2 year check-up. I'm excited to see what each weighs and how they are doing. Hopefully Tyler gets put on some antibiotic and I am really hoping that Brady isn't sick at all!

Now for this week...planning and preparation for Tyler's big birthday!!! Praying that he becomes healthy before then!

I am listening to Tyler cough up in bed and feel so sorry for him. I want him to be better!!!

HALLOWEEN HAPPINESS

We had such a great Halloween weekend! Besides me being sick, it was great and it was a weekend I'll never forget. We had conferences at school this past week, so I had Friday off. It was a good thing, because I had the worst sinus headache ever. I took the boys to daycare and I layed on the couch the entire day! Saturday morning (Halloween) we woke up and drove to Dysart for the Pancake breakfast at the fire station. After breakfast we hung out at my grandma's for a bit and then drove back home. Josh met us in Dysart, so he drove home with us. We started out trick-or-treating downtown on the square and then went around our neighborhood. Tyler had so much fun and did a great job at saying 'trick-or-treat' and 'thanks'. We were so proud of him!

Today has been quite the day. I packed away newborn clothes that will never be worn again by a child of mine. 99.9% sure about that. It was a bitter sweet moment. My Brady is no longer a newborn. He is growing so fast! I love having a little baby, but I also love how much more independent Tyler gets day by day.

My grandma commented yesterday on Brady's looks. She said that when she had seen him in the past that she thought he looked like Tyler. Yesterday when she saw him, she didn't think so as much. I have to agree. Brady's smile makes him look completely different than Tyler. I've been saying this for awhile, I know, but it's so true. He's got the best, biggest smile ever!

I am so thankful and lucky to have such wonderful boys--all three of them are my everything!
