HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2011

We have all had a great Halloween! Tyler has actually gotten to wear his costume three times and Brady twice. Tyler had his Halloween party at school this past week, so he was able to wear his costume for the party. He talked and talked and talked about his party! He had so much fun and told me everything that he got to do. Friday night our church had trick-or-treating and then Saturday night was our town's trick-or-treating. There is even trick-or-treating Monday night downtown around the square, but Lee and I both think that we may have already had enough and may skip that event. Shh...the boys don't know!

What a cute little pirate!
Saturday morning I ran a 5k in town that was a costume race, so here I am in my nurse costume. Tyler even let me borrow their stethoscope, however Brady didn't really appreciate me borrowing one of their toys.
Saturday night. We are ready to go trick-or-treating in our neighborhood! They look so cute!
And with Cali as a ladybug!

The first neighbor.

Using a neighbor's yard for some photo opportunities.

Of course they argued about who would stand closest to the orange pumpkin light when we tried to get a picture of the both of them together.
Grandma Mary enjoyed trick-or-treating with us.
Once again, checking out all of the new candy.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

SOME RANDOM OCTOBER PHOTOS

A couple weeks ago we went to our Church tailgate party before the last Cardinal home football game. Right next to where the party was at, is a park, so before we went home we had to play at the park for a bit. We enjoy having fires in our fire pit in the back yard. Fall is the perfect time to enjoy them! Brady loves the blanket basket--still!

2011 FAMILY PHOTO SHOOT

These new family pictures were taken a couple months ago. We think they turned out great! I absolutely love the pictures that we got of the boys. We got many good ones, but I thought I'd share my favorites. So, besides the new pictures that I have added to the sidebar on the blog, here's some more of my favorites.

TYLER'S FIRST FIELD TRIP

Tyler got to enjoy his first field trip with preschool last Friday, October 7th. He went to the pumpkin patch with all of his little friends and loved every second and memory about it! Lee took the day off of work to join Tyler on his trip and said that it was a great time! They had perfect weather for their morning outside at the pumpkin patch! Here's some pictures of Tyler's trip.

Tyler's very first bus ride! This picture is of Tyler and his best bud Caden.

On the way out to the pumpkin patch. This is Tyler and another good buddy of his, Micah.

The trip cost included a small pumpkin for each Tyler and Lee. So, here's Tyler and Brady with their new little pumpkins. Lee was the artist. I'm so glad that it's been nice enough this October that they can be outside with no shirts, socks, or shoes!

OH SO PRETTY!

FOOTBALL HATS

I recently purchased these new football hats. I got them from a girl at work who's mother-in-law makes them. I think that they are so cute and the boys love them! Perfect for this fall!

PUMPKIN FARM 2011

We took the boys to the pumpkin farm today and had perfect weather and a great time! Lee's brother, Matt, was visiting us for the weekend, so he got to join us. I've got to say, that this is one of my favorite things to do with the boys throughout the year. They always have so much fun and I love to see them with such big smiles on their faces! This year, the weather was absolutely perfect fall weather. Here's some pictures of our adventure to the pumpkin patch.

This was the best family picture we could get. There's way too much stuff to look at for the boys to really want to get a picture taken with their mom and dad.
They both loved to feed the goats, but Brady enjoyed it more than Tyler.

Brady in the mound of pumpkins.
This year, Tyler rode in Lucy the cow and Brady rode in Annie. This is one of the highlights from the day. Luckily, we got there right when it opened, so it wasn't too busy yet. They hardly had to wait in line for this ride.
Lee buried them with corn kernels. Brady only liked it for a short second and then he was screaming to get out.

Big Orange Jumping Pillow. The boys and I had a great time!
Brady enjoyed it more when I jumped with him in my arms.
Tractor ride on the way out to pick our pumpkins. Uncle Matt, Tyler, and Lee.
Brady and myself.
Just like last year, it was really close to lunch and nap, so we needed to wrap up our experience quickly. We found two pumpkins in no time at all. Here's Tyler with his pumpkin...
And Brady with his.
The boys and I with their pumpkins.
Brady was ready for a nap!
Tyler was still full of excitement and just as happy as could be.
While Lee was paying for the pumpkins that we picked, we found one last thing to do before leaving. They spent some time milking a fake cow and loved it!

Happy October and Happy Fall! I absolutely love this time of year!
