TYLER’S PRESCHOOL GRADUATION

After 2 years of preschool (3 year old and 4 year old programs) at Share in Newton, Tyler has now graduated and is ready for Kindergarten!

He had his last program/graduation this past Thursday, May 23.

Grandma Mary came to town to watch Tyler graduate and Lee and I left work for that hour to attend the program.

As always, he made us proud!

It was a wonderful program!  He smiled throughout every song and sang and danced his little heart out. 

He has learned and grown so much in these past two years, words cannot express.  He amazes us daily and will continue to do the same throughout his life.  Tyler is truly a remarkable and very intelligent little boy.  He is so very special beyond words.

The graduating class came out toward the end of the program in their graduation caps.  Of course the sight of Tyler and his classmates in their graduation caps and the the sound of the “graduation song” playing, caused many tears, but I was so proud!

I cannot believe that he is growing up so fast and will be at my school with me next year.  I am very blessed with two wonderful children who make me extremely happy and who I am today. 

Here’s to the future!

A GIFT FOR TEACHERS

Tyler made his four preschool teachers a ‘Thank You’ gift for everything they have done for him the past 2 years.

We put magnet letters and numbers in a mason jar, taped pens to sunflowers, added ribbon, and a note, and it made a great gift for his preschool teachers!

The best part…

He carried them to school in this wine box!

MINI GOLF

This past Saturday evening we gave the boys their first experience with Mini Golf!  It was a beautiful evening and we all enjoyed it very much.  It was probably the quickest 18 hole of mini golf that I have ever played, but it was a joy to hear the excitement from the kids.  After dinner we treated ourselves to a great dinner out at Granite City.  We had such a good Saturday night with the four of us!   Tyler got a hole in one!  Yep.  Brady had to go.  And he had to go bad!  And it was such a long walk back to the facilities, so we did what we had to do.  :)  

FINAL SPRING SOCCER GAME

Tyler and the Tiger Sharks had a pretty awesome Spring soccer season!

It is actually pretty amazing at how much he has improved in his soccer skills since just the Fall season.  He scored many goals, dribbled down the field, got in on the action at every play, played great defense, and actually ran---quickly!  He really does awesome as a soccer player!  We are so very proud of him!!!

READY FOR SUMMER BREAK!

Tuesday, May 14th

We came home from work/daycare/school and had to break out the new sprinkler that the boys got from the Easter Bunny.  It was extremely hot and the only way to play outside was if we were running through some cold water!  They played in the sprinkler and with their squirt guns until I made them come inside for dinner that evening.  They had such a great time; laughed, ran, screamed, and could have done it longer! 

We are counting down the days until our summer break….

10 more school days!!!!  And then we can continue this outdoor play day after day!

Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th

We got the new pool out on Saturday.  The boys were out swimming by 8:30 Saturday morning and didn’t stop until we HAD to leave to go to Tyler’s soccer game at 10:00.  It was such a gorgeous day and I was loving spending every second of it outside!

And the second we got home from church Sunday morning, their swim trunks were back on and it was outside to the water again!

They spent their time making the slide into a “waterslide,” going down the slide, through the sprinkler, jumping into the pool, running around the trees, and then doing it all over again!

They are having an absolute blast outside in the water and we are just so ready for our summer break!!!
