HAPPY MAY DAY!

The kids enjoyed making May Day baskets.  Lots of cups filled with popcorn, M & M’s, and Starbursts, from Tyler and Brady.  They dropped them on many friends front steps, rang the doorbell, and ran back to the van.  What a fun way to get candy!  We got many on our doorstep as well and I even had 2 of my students bring me a May Day basket to my door! 

Lee did not do this as a child, so he is always in dumbfounded by this ‘holiday’ each year when it rolls around.  But, I think he ‘gets it’ once he sees and how much fun the kids have with it!
