BIG NEWS!!!

If we haven't gotten the chance to call you personally, or you haven't had the chance to call us back yet, we want you all to hear from us our big news. Tyler is going to be a big brother! We are very excited for round two and are ready for this big step. Yes, we've been keeping this secret for a while, but not as long as last time! I have known since the week of New Year's Eve, but Lee wouldn't believe me. Finally, when it had been long enough, a test proved that I was right and that I'm pregnant. So, this secret has been kept for about a month. It has been so much fun hearing and seeing people's reactions this time around. This is the reason why we love telling people. We told our parents and brothers about 2 weeks ago and they were supposed to be keeping it secret. We realize that it's hard to keep excitement inside, but we appreciate people doing this for us. This is our news to share and like I said before, it is so much fun hearing everyone's reactions when they get the news! So, we are expecting baby Reynolds number 2 on September 12th. We had our ultrasound and check-up today. Everything looks and sounds great. It was so great seeing the baby and hearing the heartbeat today. We are so lucky that this is happening to us again. However, what I've found out already from this pregnancy, is that it's a lot harder the second time around! I have been so tired and with Tyler it adds to my exhaustion. With the first pregnancy I could lay down and take a nap in peace and quiet whenever I felt the need. This is definately not the case this time! Lee does a good job at telling me to go upstairs and lay down while he plays with Tyler. This is really wonderful when this happens! Thank you, Lee! Anyway, when you read this, please feel free to give us a call, e-mail us, or write a comment on this blog to share in our excitement!

NEW FAVORITE SPOT

Tyler loves this spot under the table behind the couch. Why? Not so sure. It's his little place that he goes to when he wants to be quiet. You may be thinking that it's his pooping place, but it's not. He just enjoys going here when he wants to relax by himself. It's kinda cute!

POOR BAILEY!

If you look hard enough, you can see the pile of food between them.

Our poor dog gets bothered constantly by Tyler! One of Tyler's favorite things to do with Bailey is to follow Bailey while Bailey's trying to eat his dinner. If you know our dog, you know that he takes a mouth full of food, takes it to the carpet, drops it from his mouth and then eats it piece by piece. Well, Tyler follows Bailey to his destination and sits and watches him eat. Sometimes even picks up a piece to feed to Bailey. Only a couple times has he picked up a piece and tried to feed himself! Luckily he's always got an eye on him, and we don't let him eat the dog food. When Bailey gets done with the food on the floor in front of them, they both walk back to the food bowl and do it all over again. It's pretty humorous to watch, but poor Bailey doesn't get a second to enjoy his food!

Happy Birthday Josh and Mary!

Making popcorn with Grandma

Tyler wanted to play some pool!

We had a weekend getaway in Iowa City last weekend. We did nothing but eat, play, sleep, and a little bit of shopping, of course. The 11th was Josh's birthday and the 13th my mom's, so we decided to go there to celebrate!

Tyler always loves to be spoiled by his Grandma Freese, so he had a great weekend.

We had to get Tyler some new shoes, since he has grown out of his old ones. We always found really cute ones, but with Tyler's fat feet, it's hard for alot of them to fit on his feet. Luckily we found a pair that works and another pair should be arriving in the mail soon. We bought them a size too big, so that hopefully they will last us well into spring time.

My friend, Katie, who is recently engaged to her fiance, Mike, came over to see us and play with Tyler for a bit. It was good to see her and her beautiful ring!

Lee and Josh enjoyed playing pool, drinking beers, and watching T.V.

My mom just LOVES to host us, so she had the time of her life.

I enjoyed quiet nights of rest and some relaxation, since Tyler loves to be taken care of by Grandma. I got a break!

Here's some pictures of the weekend.

BEYONCE VIDEO #2

BEYONCE VIDEO #1

Here's a couple video's of Tyler shakin' it to Beyonce's 'Put a Ring On It.' The first video is the one where he loses his balance at the end, so I stop recording. Then, seconds later, he is back on his feet to finish out the song. So, the second video is the one of him where he ends up holding onto the entertainment center. This kid LOVES this song! The video came on again this morning and he quit what he was doing, turned his head to the TV, smiled and started to dance. It's hilarious! Please ignore all the toys and the mess in the living room. That's just how we live these days and we love it!

PHONE

Tyler puts anything and everything up to his ear and pretends to be talking on the phone. On this day he pulled the monitor out of the cord to walk around with and talk on the phone. He looks like such a big boy! He makes me laugh so much!!!

LOCK IT UP!

These pictures show Tyler watching his Dad lock up some cabinets. He loved watching his Dad at work with the drill! Since Tyler started walking, the messes in the kitchen have been getting bigger and bigger. When he started to crawl, we decided to lock up some of the cabinets that contained cleaning supplies, sharp or heavy objects, etc. Now that he is walking, he gets into the cabinets that aren't locked time after time, object after object. On any given day, if you walked into our house, you could probably find 6 different spice containers spread out throughout the living room, kitchen, hallway, computer room. It wasn't only the spice rack that he was getting into, it was the lazy susan, which had canned goods, rice-which he had spilled all over the kitchen floor, oatmeal-which was also spilled all over the floor, and many other items that he loved getting into. So, after these two spills, Lee and I were so ready to get the rest of the cabinets locked up. He now has the pot/pan rack to play in and the tupperware drawer. He still loves to be in the kitchen while I'm at work making some good food, but now he can only make half the mess!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This was our fourth annual New Year's Celebration with our friends, Luke and Jessica McCabe. This may have been the most laid back celebration out of the four, but we still continue to have a great time together! Luke and Jessica are expecting a little one of their own, that is due to arrive on or around March 17th. We share in their excitement of a little baby McCabe.

Tyler really enjoyed their company and showed them all his new toys and best dance moves.

We had a great New Years and hope that 2009 brings good things to us!
