The boys and I had the best time at the Blank Park Zoo! It was by far the best trip we have ever had there. All of the animals were so active and the weather was absolutely perfect! We really got to enjoy all the animals and watch them all move about. I’m not sure if it was the weather or the time of day that we were there, but it was perfect!
For a reason I cannot remember, the 2016 Summer Olympics were not being shown through the cable company we had. So, we had them send us an antenna so that we could watch them. Unfortunately, the antenna only worked on our upstairs TV, so every evening you would find all 4 of us and our 2 dogs in our bed watching the Olympics. Talk about quality family time! :)

On the way home from our Tennessee trip, we made a stop in St. Louis to take the kids up in the St. Louis Arch. It was a good stop, a much needed stop, and we all really enjoyed it! It’s pretty cool, yet a little scary, to be up so high!
Tyler and Brady both got the exact same time on the mile run!
Brady ran first, so Tyler knew the time he had to get. Mrs. Woollums pushed him to make it to the finish line and he ended up with the exact same time. 9 minutes and 9 seconds! That’s a great mile run for the both of them. Brady as a kindergartner and Tyler as a 2nd grader.
I was proud and both of them were very happy! Brady ended up having the fastest run time in kindergarten!
As always, we had a fun get-a-way to the lake in Tennessee. We did the usual, which is boat time, boat time, and more boat time, with a little bit of pool time in there. Riding on the jet ski and on the tube are favorite activities. This year they both tried wake boarding, but did not really succeed. They also cliff jumped for the first time! I was a nervous wreck, but they had a great time. However, not sure we’ll be doing that again for awhile. Finished up the trip with an evening cruise to the restaurant on the lake and a night cruise back to the house.
