TYLER’S SPRING MUSIC CONCERT

Tyler had his Spring Music Concert on Thursday night, April 28th. He was very excited to perform for a couple of reasons. 1. He loves to sing! 2. He had a very special part.

The other kids that had parts read their parts off of a piece of paper. Tyler got up there and had it all memorized! He told the crowd about the song they were about to sing.

Brady and I were unable to be there since we took off right after school to go to Cedar Falls for Grandma Freese’s visitation. However, I did get to see him perform at the rehearsal during school.

Lee told me that he did great!!!

My wonderful Grandma Freese passed away in April 2016. Brady and I drove up to Cedar Falls on Thursday, April 28 after school so that we could be there in time for her visitation. Lee and Tyler stayed back for Tyler’s spring music concert and they drove up after the concert. As it was a very sad time and visit, we were still able to see family and spend time with family. Here are just a few pictures of our three little ones while we were there.

WATCHING IN STYLE (AND COMFORT!)

The boys and I drove into Altoona straight after school on Friday, April 22 to have our first experience at the new movie theater. It was amazing! We watched the new Jungle Book movie, which was great, and we watched it in very comfortable recliners! We will visit this movie theater again and again! I love my date nights with my 2 boys!

SPRING BEAUTY

Spring brings beautifully warm, sunshiny days that we just love! This day was absolutely beautiful and it just so happens that it was also my birthday! :)

Our tree in the front yard is the first tree to bloom in the spring and it looks absolutely gorgeous with its white flowers!

SATURDAY SOCCER AND FOOTBALL

We spent our Spring months going to Brady’s soccer practices and games and Tyler’s football practices and games. Both boys loved their season and both did great and learned a ton.

Brady was pretty much the star on his K-1 soccer team. As the younger age group on the team, he soared above the rest! Go England!

Tyler was on a 2nd-3rd football team and learned so much. They didn’t have the greatest team and get many wins, but he had fun at each game and enjoyed going and playing his heart out! Go Steelers!
