Tyler wanted to play some pool!We had a weekend getaway in Iowa City last weekend. We did nothing but eat, play, sleep, and a little bit of shopping, of course. The 11th was Josh's birthday and the 13th my mom's, so we decided to go there to celebrate!
Tyler always loves to be spoiled by his Grandma Freese, so he had a great weekend.
We had to get Tyler some new shoes, since he has grown out of his old ones. We always found really cute ones, but with Tyler's fat feet, it's hard for alot of them to fit on his feet. Luckily we found a pair that works and another pair should be arriving in the mail soon. We bought them a size too big, so that hopefully they will last us well into spring time.
My friend, Katie, who is recently engaged to her fiance, Mike, came over to see us and play with Tyler for a bit. It was good to see her and her beautiful ring!
Lee and Josh enjoyed playing pool, drinking beers, and watching T.V.
My mom just LOVES to host us, so she had the time of her life.
I enjoyed quiet nights of rest and some relaxation, since Tyler loves to be taken care of by Grandma. I got a break!

Sorry we missed seeing you this weekend. Weekends go by too fast! I love hanging out with grandparents because of the break they give me as well;)
wish we could have seen you guys, too, but i understand. you need your weekends to catch up on rest!
