We spent a great Sunday afternoon downtown at the shops and around the square! There were a few activities that the kids could do; we did them all, and they loved it!
Lee was out of town for the Bears game, so my mom had come to stay with us for Saturday night, Sunday, and Sunday night to help me around the house and with the boys while he was gone. We appreciate having her here so much and are very thankful for her!
The kids were able to do a ‘train’ ride behind a tractor. Similar to what they do at the pumpkin patch each year.
They got to go for a ride in the Iowa Speedway Pace Car. They said it was pretty awesome and that they got to go really fast two times!
They are inside—ready to take off!
Santa was even walking around the square passing out candy canes and saying ‘hi’ to the kids.
And we even got to go on a horse and carriage ride. Brady got to sit up in the front with the driver! It was a lot of fun!
Grandma and Tyler on the horse ride. Tyler had his candy cane from Santa in his mouth.
