We took the trip up to Cedar Falls on Saturday, November 21st so that Lee and I could go to the UNI vs. UNC basketball game with Heidi and Wayne. The trip there wasn’t what I was hoping for. We had gotten 8 inches of snow the night before and Cedar Falls had gotten 12. So driving, with the kids in the van, 2 hours north, was a bit stressful. It wasn’t bad, but not the best, obviously. But, once we got to Cedar Falls it was great! We dropped the boys off with Aunt Liz, Uncle Josh, and cousin Delaney and we headed to the game. Wayne is a huge UNC basketball fan! Unfortunately for him, but fortunately for us, UNI beat UNC that day! It was a great game to be at!!!
After the game we had to wait in the parking lot for an hour until we actually got out. Then we headed to Mulligan’s for food and drinks. After Mulligan’s we walked across the street to The Panther for awhile.
It was a great day and night with Heidi and Wayne and a great win for the Panthers!
