Our 6 year-old is quite the entertainer! He is loving life, family, friends, school, pajamas, and everything in between!

I’d say he had a few great days of celebrating his birthday!

Brady actually got to stay at home with Lee on the day of his birthday. The school divides the Kindergarten classes in half and they have half come the first day and half come the second day. Brady went to school on the first day of school, and therefore, was able to stay home with Lee and have a very ‘special’ day on his birthday.

After his birthday breakfast, Tyler and I left for school. Lee took Brady to The Playground For Kids in Ankeny and then picked up Subway for lunch. Brady had a great time at the Playground for Kids! Shortly after lunch, they rode their bikes to Maytag Park to play for awhile. They then rode their bikes to Lindy’s, but she was busy and the door was locked. (This was Brady’s first birthday that he did not spend with Lindy!) From Lindy’s, they rode their bikes all the way out to TJ! Lee asked him at Lindy’s if he wanted to ride back home or out to TJ to see Mom, and he chose Mom! What a long bike ride they took that afternoon! Luckily, they arrived to school at the end of the school day and were able to get a ride back home from me!

Brady was able to open up one present on Tuesday morning before Tyler and I left for school.

He opened his most favorite gift, his J.Animals! His very own stuffed animal that turns into pajamas! He’s in heaven!

They are hugging! They really do love each other.

Tyler and I left for school after birthday hugs were given by everyone.

After school he got to open his remaining gifts.

He got a T-Rex from Jurassic World.

And a gun. And he got hot in his pajamas! :)

Tyler got Brady a card that turns into a poster. Brady loves it and wanted it hung up in his bedroom immediately. Tyler was a nice brother and read the card to him.

Tuesday night I made a Lego cake for Brady. He wanted Strawberry cake with Strawberry frosting. He loved it and it was delicious! Lee made a letter ‘B’ out of Legos to put in front of the Lego cake.

Since Brady didn’t have to go to school on his birthday, he got to celebrate his birthday at school on Wednesday. He took ice cream cups, cookies, and juice boxes for his birthday treats to share with his class. He had a fun day and even had a purple day! So he got to go to the treasure chest to pick out a prize. Here he is with his birthday crown and his ‘treasure’, a Lightning McQueen mini lunch box.

We had Brady’s family birthday party (and Lee’s) on Saturday. The party was originally going to happen on Sunday, but Lee had gotten late notice that he was going to be flying out on Sunday morning for North Carolina for the week. So, we got everyone here on Saturday for a few hours and had a great day! (Minus the grill being a pain!)

Brady chose a PacMan cake, so I did what I could to incorporate PacMan into the day.

This balloon kept flying up over the air vent. Delaney thought it was funny and kept trying to get it. She did succeed!

Brady got a PacMan remote that just hooks up to the TV and has 12 ‘old school’ games on it. Josh, Liz, and Delaney got it for him and he absolutely loves it! The boys have been playing a lot of it since yesterday!

Grandpa Freese got him a Minecraft Torch that he slept with last night in bed and used as a torch (flashlight) when he woke up at night to go to the bathroom. He walked through the hall with it! I wish I would have seen that!
