Happy Valentine’s Day!
We all had a great Valentine’s Day this year! It was great that it was on a Friday and that my mom could come stay with both boys at home since neither of them had school. I, on the other hand, had to sit in meetings all day for Professional Development.
Brady had his Preschool Valentine Party on Wednesday, Feb. 12th. He had a great party and was excited about all the little valentine’s and candy that he brought home. Here he is playing musical chairs at school with his friends. He’s sitting on Jackson’s lap and they are next to Quinn.
Tyler had his Kindergarten Valentine Party on Thursday, Feb. 13. He as well had a great time and was excited about all his valentine’s and candy. I was able to stop into Tyler’s classroom during his party to see him for a bit and take a picture.
Tyler’s Valentine’s for his class were Valentine Crossword Puzzles and Pencils. Brady’s Valentine’s for his class were a Heart Shaped ‘Silly’ Straw.
Tyler wrote his first Valentine to a special girl this year. Addie White was special enough, in Tyler’s eyes, to get a Valentine from him. Addie is always so good to both Tyler and Brady and they both love her to pieces. She has a special place in the hearts of our two boys. Tyler sat down on Wednesday night and wrote her a Valentine. “You’re my Valentine. To Addie. Love Tyler.” He gave it to her Thursday morning when we dropped Brady off at their house. He was so excited to give it to her and she said in her sweet little voice, “Thank you, Tyler!”
I gave the boys their Valentine’s bags on Friday morning before I left for work. They were excited and Mom said that everything in the bag kept them busy throughout the day. They especially love their new Twistable Colored Pencils and Note Pad!
And they got to spend the day with one of their most favorite Valentine’s, their Grandma!
Here’s some things around the house that made our house filled with Valentine Love!
Lee sent me these beautiful flowers along with some chocolate covered strawberries.
The boys’ candy bowl filled up quickly after their school Valentine Parties.
