We have made it a nice tradition to go out to the mall on Friday morning for the kids to sit on Santa’s lap and for us to walk around and pick up any deal if needed. Since we have done this the past few years, we have found out that the mall is actually quite nice and not busy at all on Friday morning.
This is the only picture that we got of them on Santa’s lap and Tyler’s eyes were closed. Darn it!
While Josh, Liz, and myself walked the mall for a bit, Lee took the boys to the playground to run around.
We got home Friday afternoon and I immediately started to get the Christmas decorations and tree out and up! One of my most favorite days!
Friday night we went downtown to the Lighting of the Courthouse and the Lighted Christmas Parade. It was great! This was our first year, but I can see it becoming a tradition.
We still had to finish putting the ornaments on the tree when we got home from the parade. The boys wanted to help me this year, which was awesome and made me so happy!
The bottom of our tree was pretty ornament heavy, but I evened it out as we went. :)
